A new engineering model for building native mobile platforms for iOS and Android

For decades, virtually every new native mobile social network, business platform, educational system or digital community for iOS and Android was created as a standalone development project.

For each project, a bespoke architecture was designed, a team was assembled, server infrastructure was set up, and months were spent on design, development, testing, release and subsequent maintenance.

This model has become so firmly entrenched in the industry that today it is perceived as the only viable option.

However, the history of engineering shows that the most significant changes do not occur when existing processes become faster. They occur when the very formulation of an engineering problem begins to be viewed in a fundamentally different way.

It is precisely this question that became the starting point for my work.

At a certain point, I came to the conclusion that building and scaling native mobile platforms for iOS and Android could be viewed not as a sequence of separate development projects, but as a standalone infrastructure challenge.

The result of this work was Rezvov Mobile Software technology.
